Following the long and stunning success of the classic Aquabot, first introduced in 1983, Aqua Products added a second unit in the early 90's, the revolutionary Aquabot Turbo. The swimming pool industry was booming and in-ground pools were becoming larger and larger at the time. The Turbo included stronger motors that would increase the filtering power of the Mark V 50%, from 2700 gallons per minute to 4200, and the pool surface coverage more than 100%, from 3000 to 4200 square feet/hour. In the ensuing years, several remote control versions were added to the line, all of which included the basic Aquabot Turbo chassis and motors. The Aquabot Turbo includes a seven (7) hour internal timer, a 60' self-floating power cord, and the strongest filter and drive motors in the industry. With its added speed and power, this robotic cleaner can easily handle a pool as large as 60' in length.
