Waterway's new EX 2 Series hot tub and spa pumps directly replace many AquaFlo XP2 and XP2e spa pumps. Whether you need to replace an existing AquaFlo XP2 and XP2e spa or hot tub pump, or are looking for a quiet & powerful hot tub pump, the EX 2 delivers and is backed by USA made quality. Available in single or dual speed configurations. Please note, pumps do not come with a cord. You can use your existing cord or inquire with our knowledgeable in-house sales staff if you need to purchase one.

48 and 56 Frame refer to the actual size of the spa pump motor. Generally, 48 Frame Spa Pump Motors are 5.5" Diameter and 56 Frame Spa Pump Motors are 6.5" Diameter. 56 Frame motors run a little cooler and can be more powerful depending on the application. Often times spa manufacturers do not leave much room in the spa cabinet for you to replace a 48 Frame spa pump motor with a 56 Frame spa pump motor. If in doubt as to what kind of motor you have, check the motor tag for information. It will most certainly denote the motor's voltage, frame size, hertz, RPM speed (one RPM rating for single speed, two RPM ratings for two speed ex. 3450/1725), and amp rating.
